The Wellington County Museum and Archives (WCMA) offers both PA Day Camp and Summer Camp throughout the year that encourages Campers to learn while having fun, building crafts, exploring experiments, and playing games.

January 30, 2026: Magic at the Museum

Accio fun! From fantasy to parlour tricks, and everything in between, this day will be filled with wonder and mystery.

April 24, 2026: In Bloom!

Welcome in spring in this nature themed day! From nature walks, to creating using natural materials, enjoy the budding weather and sunshine!

June 5, 2026: A Pirate's Life For Me

Drink up me hearties, yo ho! Time to go through pirate training, what will your role be on our ship? Have fun learning through play and find out if a pirate's life is for you!

July 6 - 10: Walk on the Wild Side

Start the summer off right with hikes through the museum trails, visit to the Elora gorge and an explore of the natural world around us!

July 13 - 17: Myths and Legends

Delve into the world of Myths and Legends! Whether it be dragons, unicorns, or oni there is always something new and exciting to discover.

July 20 - 24: Space Walk (STEM)

There are so many new discoveries about the last frontier. How are getting to the moon and mars, how did plants grow on the ISS, and how far in the known universe can we really see? Discover this and more on our Space Walk!

August 4 - 7: Raiders of the Lost Artifact

Become our Junior Curators this week and discover what it takes to work at a museum! Explore our storage rooms, choose artifacts and curate your own exhibit in the museum. There is so much to explore!

Time to get messy and stretch those creative muscles! Whether it's visual, dance, or music, there is something for everyone.

The world is a large and interesting place. Explore the different climates around the world and animals that call them home!

How to Register

  1. Read the Parent Handbook.
  2. Complete online Registration Form.
  3. Complete the Medical and Allergy Information Form (as needed).

Commonly Asked Questions

  • PA Day Camp registration opens in the first week of September and is based on the Upper Grand District School Board Calendar
  • Summer Camp registration opens in the first week of March
  • Registration is open for Campers ages 6 to 10
  • Regular programming is from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm
  • Drop-off is from 8:30 to 9:00 am
  • Pick up is from 4:00 to 4:30 pm
  • Early drop-off, 8:00 to 8:30 am, and late pick-up, 4:30 to 5:00 pm, available
