Join us for the opening reception at the WCMA on Thursday, May 1 from 7 to 9 pm, with music, refreshments, and the presentation of awards sponsored by the WCMA, Elora Fergus Arts Council, and private donors.
Emerging Insights is a juried exhibition featuring artwork created by secondary students from across the Upper Grand District School Board. This exhibit recognizes and celebrates the creativity and accomplishments of visual arts students in our local area, and encourages continued artistic growth. Of the more than 90 works of art submitted, 23 were selected by Elora artist Rick Worthington for inclusion in the final show. As juror, Worthington had the difficult task of adjudicating the submissions and awarding prizes to the most outstanding works.
