Whether you're researching the history of your home or tracing your ancestors through property transactions, this presentation will walk you through the process of finding and interpreting historical land documents. Susan will also highlight additional resources, including land records available on FamilySearch.org.

    The Rural Diary Archive: How to use diaries for your research

    The Rural Diary Archive website brings together the writings of over 250 diarists (1790-1930) from across Ontario. Cathy Wilson shares several of the diaries, including many from Wellington County, as she explains the nature of diary writing and the ways that you can use diaries for your own research.
